Test Mode

Sandbox mode lets you test any API call without consuming credits. You receive a real response — actual PDF or image — but it does not count against your monthly quota.

✓Real output returned
✓Zero credits consumed
✗Capped at 50 runs a day

Enabling Sandbox

Add "sandbox": true to the root of any request body:

curl -X POST https://api.sigli.dev/v1/process \
  -H "X-API-Key: sig_live_xxx" \
  -H "X-Convert-Type: html-to-pdf" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "source": "<h1>Sandbox test</h1>",
    "sandbox": true,
    "format": "A4"
  }' \
  --output sandbox.pdf

Alternatively, use a sig_test_ prefixed key — all requests made with test keys run in sandbox mode automatically.

Response Headers

These are the standard headers on every document conversion response — there is no dedicated "this was sandboxed" header; track it client-side from the request you sent. Sandbox runs show in Request Logs with a sandbox badge and 0 credits.

Note: Sandbox output is the same real output as a live run — no watermark. It's free and capped at 50 runs a day per workspace. Switch to a live key and set sandbox: false (or omit the field) for production volume, billed by credits.
